What is the easiest way to tell a psychic is CHEATING?
Honestly? Cold reading is probably the most obvious tell tale sign that a reader is guessing, or trying to lead you in a direction that makes them look psychic. (when instead they are just sneaky!)
Common cold reading questions?
Anything that is overly general, or could apply to a large part of the population at any given time. (travel, transition, etc)
Throwing out random initials and asking if any “mean anything”.
Of course really GOOD cold readers use your body language, your appearance and your mannerisms to offer information that may appear psychic to you, but in reality, is just a good, calculated guess.
The GOOD news?
Cold reading is VERY difficult to do on the telephone, and for this reason, most serious psychic researchers, publishers and even scientists who study the whole field RARELY recommend going to see a psychic in person, until you are sure they are good. (as phone readings make it much more difficult to cheat)
The best way to test a psychic?
Write down 5-7 questions that are really important to you, and learn to control the reading from the get go.
Never commit to a long, detailed reading until you have gotten your 5-7 “test” questions answered satisfactorily, and are confident that you have real rapport and an open connection with your reader. You should be able to learn everything you need to know within 15 or 20 minutes, and a psychic who gives you actionable information, insight and intuition that rings TRUE to you in a brief window of time, is almost always someone you can count on to call again.
Remember to never sign up for a psychic, or a service that doesn’t guarantee their readings 100%. There is no better way to “prove” a reader is accurate than someone who is willing to put their money where they’re mouth is… and if they aren’t willing to offer a money back guarantee, I don’t have the confidence to cough up my cash!
Lastly, DO read reviews, and check out ratings around the web……or in person, if you are calling or seeing someone locally to you. However, reviews CAN be deceiving, and are not always the best barometer of how good a psychic truly is.
